We've been full of community spirit this term.

Two students have taken to heart the plight of people in Haiti, and decided to do something to help. James put himself forward for a sponsored hair cut and went from one extreme to the other, and raised £100. Aneesa baked buns during her License to Cook Classes, and sold these at break times to raise over £33. We would like to say a big THANK YOU to you both for taking the time and initiative to help others.

Mix ‘Dup is a year 11 dance team who have recently been crowned Bradford’s best dance team at the Bradford Schools’ Dance X Factor competition. The girls danced to the Pussycat Dolls’ hit song - ’When I Grow Up’. They told their story through a fantastic routine which was fun, professional, and very well performed. The all girls team are now looking forward to their next competition where they hope to shine again.

E-learning Co-ordinator Mr Afsar has set himself a task: he wants to increase awareness of E-safety amongst the area’s primary school students. The first of his visits was to Eastwood Primary, pupils were entertained and informed through presentations and video clips on how to be ‘Smart’ whilst online. They then entered a competition to design their own E-safety posters.
