Study Support
We work on offering pupils a variety of study support opportunities, both in and out of school hours.
This support will normally be offered and delivered where possible by the class teacher. We operate it this way because we feel that the teacher knows the strengths and and areas for improvement of most, if not all children they teach.
Study support is delivered in a number of ways, these include;
Mainly years 9 and 11
Lunchtime revision sessions
Afterschool revision classes
Easter Revision Classes (Year 11 only)
A Year 11 Away Day Revision Workshop held off site
(This year it is to be held at the Victoria Hall, Saltaire on Tuesday 8th May 9am - 3:30pm)
All Other Year Groups
i-Learning Clubs are supervised Monday to Thursday in the School Library
(Maths related issues can be addressed on Thursdays as our
Department Teaching Associate runs the club)
Pupils can also book into the CLC to access Internet study support websites.
