Year 7 had a visit from the Crystal Sanctuary where they learnt about hedgehogs.

The Crystal Sanctuary is a charity that rescues sick and injured hedgehogs, looks after them until they are better and then releases them back into the wild.

Year 8 have recently enjoyed a series of  "Written in Stone" workshops at Cliffe Castle Museum where they learnt about rocks and the rock cycle and produced some excellent "slices" of rock. This was organised to complement and enhance the work they do on the rock cycle.

In the very near future Year 7 will also be attending workshops on variation and classification at Cliffe Castle Museum.
