Students are invited to join MENSA.
Four students from Year 9 and 10 have been invited to join MENSA, the oldest and most famous high I.Q. society in the world. The girls sat the MENSA adult international test in November and were thrilled with their results which placed them within MENSA's top 2% as MENSA only invite people to join its society if their scores place them in the top 2%. Two of the girls had I.Q. scores which were within top 1%, whilst the other girls' I.Q. scores were within the top 2%.
The girls are part of the schools established Gifted and Talented programme called Challenge, which had identified these high achieving students as those who would benefit from being entered. This recognizes that the school is committed to developing the talents and skills of it's students.
The achievement is fantastic and we would like to thank the girls for their hard work.
